Location is perfect on Bourbon Street with live music right outside. Got a room facing the street; noise lasted until 4am. Staff is friendly, and the pool area is nice. Had issues with housekeeping; room wasn’t cleaned despite being gone all morning.

Location is unbeatable right on Bourbon Street. Enjoyed the live jazz performances at the hotel. Room was a bit noisy from the street and could use better soundproofing.

Comfortable room, friendly staff with quick responses that made our stay enjoyable and a convenient location that allowed us to easily explore main attractions.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The location was prime for exploring everything around. Staff were friendly and helped with local tips.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the convenience made it worth it.

The room was simple but comfortable. Temperature control was effective, keeping us cool amid the heat outside. The bed was cozy, but noise was a significant issue. I'm talking about club sounds from across the street and loud party vibes that echoed throughout the night. The flimsy balcony doors didn’t help, feeling old and dirty. My initial room was dark and the carpet uninviting. While friendly staff attempted to assist, issues with key cards and a broken phone made the experience frustrating. Some amenities felt lacking, like room service and cleanliness, particularly in the shower.

I had such a frustrating experience with the noise level; it was impossible to get any sleep. Live music blared until 4am, and even inside the hotel, people were loud.

The Jazz Playhouse was straight fire 🔥 with the best live jazz in NOLA and dope drinks. The staff were chill AF, making us feel like VIPs. It was vibing with a slick atmosphere, perfect for us young party animals.
Wish they had a lit rooftop party spot for us to turn up even more! .

Enjoy coffee from a place that's proudly local, explore the impressive art collection, savor specialty cocktails in a unique setting, indulge in fresh oysters, and revel in high-end experiences with fantastic amenities.

The first room was far from ideal—dark and cramped. A quick trip to the front desk resulted in a room upgrade that was significantly better. The lobby impressed me, and the valet service was a nice touch. Comfortable accommodations were marred by the expected noise of Mardi Gras. Cleanliness and security were solid, but the price felt inflated. Access to local attractions was a major plus; the pool area was pristine, and the staff was generally friendly. some areas of the hotel felt outdated, and inconsistencies in service detracted from the luxury experience, especially with unexpected fees. Professionalism matters; a negative encounter at check-out overshadowed a mostly pleasant stay.

The Royal Sonesta offers a prime location near Bourbon Street and spacious, clean rooms. Staff were friendly, and the hotel had a pleasant aroma. communication regarding street closures during Mardi Gras could be improved, and parking costs were quite steep.

This hotel is right on Bourbon Street, making it super easy to explore the lively French Quarter and access amazing attractions like Jackson Square and the iconic Cafe du Monde for beignets, both just a quick walk away, which made my weekend strolls an absolute joy! Plus, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the heated pool was a fantastic place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. There was some high pricing for parking, but with all the fun right at your doorstep, you'll hardly miss having a car!

Absolutely stunning location right on Bourbon Street, perfect for exploring. The staff were wonderful, always ready to help, especially the valet and bellman who went the extra mile. The poolside rooms were spacious and tranquil, but the bedding left much to be desired—cheap pillows and no robes. A few hiccups with room maintenance and odd charges at checkout were frustrating. Despite these quirks, the charm and convenience make it hard not to fall in love with the place. Just keep an eye on those extra fees, and you’ll have a fabulous time!

The courtyard feels like a hidden gem perfect for sipping coffee. The bellstaff provides top-notch service and makes you feel like royalty.
Some areas of the hotel look tired and could use a fresh coat of paint.

The outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. I loved the live entertainment, which brought the perfect nightlife vibe. The food at the restaurant? Definitely the best gumbo I’ve ever had!
Strongly recommend! 😍✨

The ambiance was exquisite, with cocktails that perfectly embodied the spirit of New Orleans jazz. The intimate setting allowed us to immerse ourselves in the best live jazz talent in the city, making it a truly memorable experience for our whole family.
My kids wished for a dedicated children's play area onsite.

Great staff; always pleasant. Beautiful interior, a tranquil retreat from the lively surroundings. Perfect location, close to major attractions and helpful valet attendants.
Parking fees were exorbitant, especially after paying a substantial amount for the room. Noise levels at night were disruptive, affecting sleep quality.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Quarter, close to Bourbon Street yet surprisingly quiet. Our room overlooked a serene courtyard with a heated pool, providing a lovely oasis. Additionally, the friendly staff and onsite amenities like a PJ’s coffee house and live music venue added to the charm of the stay.
Despite the prime location, the rooms were disappointingly small and outdated, lacking in luxury amenities. The hotel's pricing did not match the quality of the accommodations, with chipped furniture, flimsy bedding, and peeling paint detracting from the overall experience.

cleanliness and spacious rooms make for a comfy stay. the hotel's location is top-notch - right in the middle of the action, and there's a bar by the pool. it's easy to get around - being close to all the hotspots. the staff were really polite and helpful, and the courtyard was a great spot to chill.
Can't recommend highly enough.

the heating in our room seemed to be a bit inconsistent, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. On the bright side, the air conditioning worked like a charm, keeping us cool during the hot New Orleans weather. We were pleased to find tea and coffee facilities in our room, which was a nice touch for a morning pick, me, up. The sitting area was cozy and provided a great spot to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Unfortunately, the rollaway bed we requested was not as comfortable as we had hoped, and it took up quite a bit of space in the room. One thing that stood out to us was the lack of a full, length mirror in the room, making it a bit challenging to check our outfits before heading out. The garden furniture outside was a nice touch and offered a relaxing spot to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. We did appreciate the presence of an AM/FM alarm clock in the room, helping us stay on schedule for our various activities. we did encounter some issues with valet parking, as it seemed a bit disorganized at times. we thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour at the hotel, where we got to unwind with some great drinks and snacks.

cynthia at the front desk was so cheerful and accommodating when i checked in late at night. the doorman malcolm was so friendly and we miss him already! the bourbon street balcony room was entertaining and fun, and the beds were super comfortable. the location was perfect, right in the middle of all the action, with a great street view balcony room. the staff was very nice and the restaurants at the hotel were delicious. i'd love to return someday.
